We got this game and my oldest is five and learning some basic math skills. She loves doing the addition and subtraction to find out how to move. We also have started to learn about odd and even numbers with this game. The board and pieces are sturdy and durable. Lots of fun

My 5-year-old grandson instantly took to this game. We played it many time during the week-end I was visiting with him. Also, at the beginning, he would add and subtract on his fingers, but after a few games he had learned the answers and no longer needed his fingers. I also like that the game does not drag on and on; we could play again and again within the space of an hour --- or move on to something else.

I was initially disappointed because the product description online says "for ages 4-7" but the box recommends the start age as age 5. Not knowing any better, I bought this for my daughter's 4th birthday. She certainly is a little young but enjoys playing the game with me and her 6 year old sister!

I got this for my son for Christmas and we have enjoyed playing the game. He actually is excited about the addition and subtraction that he has to do in order to move his piece.
