The youngest received this and is vigilant when older siblings are looking at it or reading it. Trouble develops if the owner can't share in the story - again!

I love this version of the folk tale. We followed it up with making our own Stone Soup, which we all loved. Just added bay leaves, pepper corns and marjoram. My Grandson loved having the recipe on the last page!!!
