My husband and I played this game with our 4 and 6 yr old kids, and we loved it. This was our first experience with a cooperative game. The kids loved being able to rescue everyone, and they were picking out their favorite plant pictures and asking the names of them. Personally, it made me really want to go for a hike. The only thing it was missing was a card picturing horseflies. Might still be in there though! Those huge stabby things once made me run my out of shape self all the way up a mountain and back ahead of everyone. XD

We got this for our kids for Christmas and have so far been impressed by this beautiful game. The pictures on the board and the cards are so tasteful and accessible to non-readers. Our 3-year old played the entire first game with my 6 year old and me, and we even managed to get our very competitive 9 year old to join in the next game, and he actually enjoyed it! This game is a great antidote for a family like ours, where sports and competition have dampened many a family game time. I just love that the game board spirals inward, then outward, and the cooperative nature of it and the art really contribute to a peaceful, gently spiritual experience. My only (small) problem with this game is that it is a little long and repetitive. There are enough different herbs and challenges to keep it from being entirely boring, but I don't know that I can sit through playing it very often. On the other hand, my little girls really, really love it.

We purchased Wildcraft! board game to have something a bit different around the house right along with the usuals. We absolutely love it! My four year old was able to play immediately with no problems understanding anything. The use of the herbs, the identification of the herbs, and the cooperation involved leave us all feeling really good about playing. The only drawback (if you can call it that) is that certain herbs get used way more than others, so it seems kind of biased in that way. We are still not clear as to how some of the others get used. But really there is only positives about this game. My son(at 4) now has more knowledge of herbs and their uses than any of his peers. Next we'll start identifying the native plants around our home here in Texas. Highly recommend this board game. Our grown sons came over for the holidays and were just as enraptured with Wildcraft! as our youngest son.

We purchased this game for our children (ages 8 and 5), and we couldn't be happier. It teaches about herbal remedies for common ailments (useful information), supports compassion and kindness (refreshing to hear players begging to help other players), and it is aesthetically pleasing (from the colorful game board to the illustrated herbs). Our 8-year-old is also eager about the accompanying stories that you can download and read from the website and that interface with rest spaces on the game. Our son, 5, requested before bed, the herbal remedy for bruises on his knees :) The whole family loves to play this one.

This is a true family game. It is enjoyed by my 4 year old son and myself. Offers a game that is educational, promotes cooperation and fun. We've played it with friends of all ages. Although we love it, we've never finished a game. This game runs long but it's so fun it never seems to bother anyone that there is never a winner.

I purchased this game for our 'almost' five year old granddaughter for Christmas. We knew she was a little young for it but felt we could adapt it to her age. It was such a great hit!!! It has now become her favorite playdate game to pull out when she has friends over. The really great thing about this game is that no matter how it's played (kids often change and make up their own rules), it's always a great learning experience and the kids love knowing that they can help their friends heal and get better whenever someone gets hurt or ill. Kids really rather cooperate than compete and this game is perfect for that! Gloria Hinojosa Former Assistant Head of School, The Judson Montessori School, San Antonio, TX
