This question often comes up as early as the pre-school years, and it can be hard to know how to answer.Designed to give you a comfortable foundation for addressing your child's natural curiosity, this book presents clear, age-appropriate information about the differences between girls' and boys' bodies, reproduction (not intercourse), and birth.Written with warmth and honesty, it uses real names for various body parts — vagina, labia, scrotum, penis, etc. (Some illustrations show frontal nudity.)The message is upbeat and happy, and ultimately celebrates your child's amazing arrival into the world. Includes great notes for parents. Paperback, 32 pages. Ages 3 - 6.

I really liked this book and will be giving it to my 4 yr old grandson for Christmas. He is at that little boys curious about his body stage. It will be perfect for him.

Pretty good, accurate to the discription. I needed a way to get this stuff out on the table with some sort of guideline. I suggested the book a few times and my son was all, "no, no." Then when he was in a more agreeable mood I choose it, and I could tell he was paying close attention. As a medical illustrator, I like the illustrations, they have the right amount of accuracy and artistic interpretation too. Grandpa read it and was relieved that he didn't learn anything new from it!
