Pictures and descriptions for activities and experiments are excellent, easy to follow, and great for doing at home with mostly common items around the house....plus a few extras like magnifying glass, colored paper, bottles of varying sizes.

From a Grandma: It is always nice to have 'things to do' on hand. Keep them happily busy learning and thinking -- and doing. At some point they will initiate projects on their own.
