I was excited for this prism to show my daughter how rainbows can be created, however, it only will make a subtle one if you hold it in a specific angle sideways(or whatever else position works).

I knew this wouldn't work as well as a glass prism, but I really thought it would be better than it is. It is pretty bad at separating the light and scratches EASILY.

So disappointed these, I bought three unfortunately, did not work. No rainbow was produced. I opted for the plastic because these are young kids prone to dropping items.

It was a very weak rainbow. I needed a stocking stuffer so I bought this. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's very difficult to get the rainbow from this. I tried several different angles and when I finally did get it, the rainbow was small and dimm.
