My grand daughter was thrilled with this Christmas present. She was delighted to learn how to make a potholder.

These sets are the same as i remember in the 70's. A great skill and patience builder. My daughter got to make something for her mom that was actually very useful. we will be making more.

I bought this potholder loom for my 4 yr old grandaughter, she is a little young for it but she likes making things. She easily warped the loom (strung the vertical loops) asking about and counting out the pattern of colors. At first I wove a few of the loops, gradually she began to take over and by the end of the second potholder she could do most everything except for the last weaving loop (it's tight!). I had to finish the edge - she'll be 7 or 8 before she can do that. This is a great activity to work on together- we had a long discussion on forming patterns with colors. Now she wants to make a purse! Clear directions were included.

I had one of these when I was a Girl Scout , many years ago. I bought this so I could have some decent potholders in my kitchen. I gave them for gifts and, now I am selling them. I like the metal frame and cotton loops, when most are made of nylon and they melt. All I all good product, i don' like that the loops are as easy to ravel I to keep trimming them.

My grandchildren helped me make 11 potholders for gifts with the kit plus an extra bag. Very pretty colors and good quality!

I bought this for my two 5-year-old girls...my 9-year-old daughter enjoys it the most! Took her a few tries to figure out the weaving, but now she's a pro!

Excellent product for boys and girls. Great value. A natural follow up craft to the rubber band looms that children are interested in. I had one of these when I was a little girl and now I am passing this skill on to my grandchildren. The metal loom will never break with normal use. I need to order another for a gift. Shipping was prompt.
