Wonderful gift for my ten year old granddaughter! She loves making potholders (and has turned some into purses). She even has a little business going now.

Heard that granddaughter with new loom had gotten the hang of it but was frustrated because the loops with her set were so uneven in quality - many could not be used. I sent this pack and heard that these loops were better quality, nice colors etc. My faith in Small Hands is justified.

Good quality loom that makes cute potholders. It is challenging enough to keep my 5-year-olds attention, but not too hard that she doesn't want to do it. Excellent for fine motor skills!

This product was a large bag of cotton loops for use with the metal square weave-box. Unfortunately the quality was so poor that I had to return it The loops were loose, scraggly, with threads hanging off, unsubstantial. I was surprised because other items I've received have been of excellent quality, but there were truly unacceptable.

I got this for my 8 year old son-and although he doesnt care for it, I do, and I am saving it for my daughter who is only 2 right now. The metal loom is great and I love the loops so much better than others that i have seen in my local craft stores. The quality is great and the colors are vibrant!

I purchased this as a gift for my six year old grand daughter. She was able to complete a pot holder rather quickly. She wants to give them as gifts. The only problem with this item is the number of loops. If you think your child is able to weave this item, buy more loops. Two pot holders are not enough for an interested child!

When I saw the potholder maker in the catalogue, I knew this was going to be a winner with my grandchildren. When their mother (they are triplets) was a little girl, she made dozens of potholders and enjoyed the activity so much. Now her children are having great fun: Madeleine is the youngest triplet by two minutes; she sent me her first potholder for my birthday and you can imagine how proud I was of her efforts. She is five years old and is already a dedicated weaver. It's a lovely quiet activity and certainly helps with the child's dexterity. And hey, one can never have enough potholders!
