Manageable for young preschoolers but still fun for kindergarten age. Versatile and durable. A good imagination prop too.

My two year old grandson has a very short attention span. This turned out to be a great toy to take to restaurants and for him to play with at home. I appreciated the quick delivery as I ordered it late and wanted it for Christmas.

My daughter, 3, enjoys threading these toys. She does tend to lose the pieces since she thinks she needs them all out of the bag to play with it.

We introduced this to our 2 1/2 year old and initially he was taken with the shapes and colors of the buttons and spools. Shortly after seeing the shoe lace he started threading them in random order. Each button has a different amount of holes to thread (1-4) so we now use it as a counting lesson. Great learning toy.
