These flashlights give off a nice bright light. Our grandsons love to crank the handler to produce the light.

My grandson, (age 6), loved the mini hand-crank flashlight that he received for Christmas. When on the computer recently, attending a "virtual" cub scout meeting, his activity was to get all the items he would need for a camping trip. He remembered the mini flashlight that he received and was so glad to have it for his "virtual" camping trip! A happy Grandma who made a good selection.

I bought two of these hand-cranked mini flashlights as stocking stuffers for my grandchildren, ages 5 and 3. I was looking for a small flashlight that wasn't a blinding light...as kids tend to shine them in adults' faces..., didn't use up batteries and was easy to hand crank. These flashlights fit the bill and the kids loved them. My only complaint is that the flashlights are so small that they are awkward to crank.

I bought this for a three-year old, and it was very easy for him to figure out and use. Cool gift.

Bought three of these as gifts for kids age 4 and under. They love them! I was surprised how bright the little thing is considering the price. I'm thinking of buying a bunch more to stash around the house, as it seems my flashlights' batteries are always dead when I want to use them.

I bought this for a gift so I didn't open the package. I am trusting it will be an awesome gift for my 3 young grandsons. If I am not happy, I will let you know. They appear to be very nice. I especially like the size so they can go on a keychain, pocket, etc.

I was a little skeptical but this little doo-dad really does work. If you don't need 30 minutes of light you can turn it off and use it again later. I can't speak to the durability of it since we haven't had it long. It isn't for lighting up a whole room but if you need some light in a pinch, there it is. We'll keep it in our "power outage" flashlight supply and I may buy some to include in shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child.
