Hands can plant seeds in a row."" Oppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award. Board book, 24 pages.

I bought the Hands Can book for my 10 month old and he LOVES it! This is the first book that he reaches for when we do storytime. The images of real children using their hands, along with the simple descriptions and rhyming verse have given us something fun and new to practice with our son.

This book was a Christmas gift for our daughter who will be 18 months in early January. This book is beautifully done with real pictures of babies and toddlers of all ethnicities doing an everyday motion with their hands. The pictures engaged my daughter like few books can. Also, the length of the book was just right. We had to read this book today multiple times so I know my daughter really liked this book.

I liked it (grandma) but my grand daughter didn't show too much interest. It's nice for small hands, they can learn to crank the handle, and see the movements which produce the sound.
