Our son loves this book. He was 21 months old when we got it for him a couple months ago, and he continues to enjoy it. He likes the trucks and the sounds and rhythm of the book. Despite his love of trucks, his favorite page lately has been the page where they take a break for lunch! :-) It's everything I'd hoped for and think that it will continue to be a favorite book of his for time to come. [Note that we opted to get the hardcover version rather than the boardbook because we weren't 100% sure that the board book contained all the same pages as the larger book ('cause that'd make for a pretty big book!). So far, the regular paper pages are holding up to our toddler, though we removed the dust cover for safe keeping and typically read it together so we can help encourage gentle treatment of the pages.]

The text is short and sweet and rhyming on each page. Nice big pictures for the children to look at and name. Wonderful book to add to our collection!
