I might recommend this toy. It was bought for my year old grandson who loves to open containers, empty the contents, sometimes fling the contents around, replace the contents, and close the container. This colorful toy has frustrated him and his adults because it is very hard to pry the red cover off and replace it. He can't do it at all. It requires an adult. A disappointment.

A great, engaging toy for my one year old. I like that the shapes come out of the top easily and can be put back in easily when sliding through the various shapes isn't of interest yet. He loves to hold it upside down and shake all the pieces out! Great little wooden toy...

My 23 month old great grandson truly plays with this toy. At first he needed guidance but now he is a champ!

This was not as fun as it looked like it would be. Didn't like the top to get the shapes out of the middle.
