This product is okay for counting but the numbers are so small on the base it's really not functional for quantity and symbol matching.

Bought for a 2 year old. He lived stacking it and then turning it upside down and dump it over.

I bought these blocks for a 12 month old but found that his older siblings ( 4 and 6 year old ) love playing with them too. The blocks are more unique than the standard block shape. They are easy to pick up for small hands.

My 9-month old granddaughter loves to "pet" the larger blocks and stroke their smoothness. She's a "toucher." As her teeth are coming in, they are sweet-to-hold biting toys, as well. Soon, very soon, she'll be stacking them and knocking them over.
