This board game is flexible for number and age of players. It goes fast enough that it keeps the attention of the younger ones and who doesn't want to help a baby get home to their mom?

I love cooperative games! We bought several, and this one is my son's favorite. It's great that all players work together toward a common goal, and there's still the challenge of getting the owls home before time's up.

This is a great game. I have two daughters less than 2 years apart. They both just turned 4 and 6. We play a game almost every night at our house after supper before bed and have played lots of different ones. My 4 year old saw this and just had to have it. I am glad we got it. I think teaching kids competition and how to win and lose gracefully is important but it is a nice change to have cooperative games too. It teaches kids to communicate and work together and my 6 year old especially loves that we are on a team and win or lose together. We played this 6 times right when we got it and the girls just couldn't get enough. The Owls are adorable and the girls love the game being get the baby Owls to the nest before the sun rises. Helping the babies get home was the perfect object. The game also teaches some strategy and thinking ahead. You do have to plan ahead and work together or you will not win. Trying to teach the kids that you want to spread the owls out on the same color to enable you to jump and get around the board faster isn't always easy. The kids love that either the players win or the sun wins. Game plays much like candy land. You draw colored cards and move to the next space of that color. However two Owls can not occupy the same spot so you jump it and go to the next available spot of the color. You need to get all the Owls all the way around the board to the nest to win. You can choose how many Owls to start with. The game itself comes in a really durable box. Much better than most games. The board is nice and thick again better quality than most games. The little Owls are cardboard but nice and thick. I think they will last a long time. The card board cards are also a thick cardboard but they aren't laminated. They will bend. The colors are vibrant and the game itself is well thought out and well made. Great quality for the price. I will be looking at more games from this manufacturer.

Wonderful logic tool and, best of all, allows for pure fun of game playing. Since we've introduced this game, there is significantly less upset when losing competitive games because the focus is on the play rather than on the win/lose.

This was a gift for our about-to-be 3-yr.-old granddaughter. Her mother writes: "We love the Owl game! We played it several times yesterday afternoon and then with Dad after dinner again. She doesn't really get the strategy of figuring out how to jump the owls to make more progress (yet), but she loved playing with me over and over...

My 3 & 5 yr old granddaughters love this game. It involves a bit of strategy also which makes it good for the older ones to help the younger. Nice cooperation. Even fun for adult caregivers to play with the children.
