I have ridden with the helmet on 2 occasions since you were kind enough to swap out the lining to a bigger size. I still believe the helmet is too tight for me. The second ride was for a few hours and gave me a headache by the end of the day. I have not used the accessories yet as I wanted to ensure it was the right fit.”
“As this is the only place I can review my buying experience; I was all but certain I would own this helmet, however being above the high price point I wasn't prepared to just order one, especially as I couldn't get to trial it as I live in NZ. I had been in contact with Forcite on FB/Messenger for some time getting as much detail as I could, and they assured me delivery would not be an issue. It then so happened I had a trip to Sydney and visited Deus Ex in Parramatta, and was sold on the helmet, although XL didn't seem so XL, but it still ticked all the boxes. I ordered it on my return to NZ only to be told that it couldn't be delivered, unless I was prepared to pay extortionate export charges, so against everything earlier promised. If that had been made clear I would definitely have visited Deus Ex earlier in my trip to allow delivery and bring itback home with me, thus avoiding many charges I then had to pay, such as, it was made known to me by NZ Customs, the GST portion could/should have been waived as it was subject to charges here...so you can appreciate why my review is low based on misinformation, timing, and paying around 33% more than was necessary. And yet no acknowledgement, apology, nor reasonable explanation from Forcite.”
