“Helmet fit, finish and overall is great, sadly when riding in the rain it does mist up badly and I had to resort to glove wiping the inside just to see. conditions were terrible but I ride in all weathers. Support is woeful as I submitted a call Jan 5th with no response as of now. Also I have had to force reboot the helmet twice , not a major issue but on both occasions as I could not get the video functioning, both times on rides where I really wanted footage so disappointing to have missed these once off's. I think given the above and the fact that even when working the video takes ages to actually start there may be a quality issue with the helmet(software) Helmet sounds noisy(wind noise) to me however anyone I am talking to on the phone cannot tell I am on a bike, so well done on that”

Hi Mikey, Thanks for reaching out - Apologies if our Support Team have not responded to your previous enquiries, we'll ensure that all matters are addressed during our communication. With regards to the video footage, it appears as though that the SD card that you are using is corrupted. For optimal experience, we recommend using a class 10 SD card as this will provide a stable experience. A formatting of the SD card should be suitable if you do encounter this experience, which can be done in the Forcite app through Settings > Helmet > Format. With regards to the commencement of the video recording, the camera is completely shut off when it is not in use. As a result, there is a delay of approximately 20 seconds experienced to get the camera to turn on. We have chosen to do this as the camera is the most power hungry component of the electronics module. If it were to be always on even when there is no video recording, then the battery would not last as long. We will reach out via email so we can continue the conversation further.

“First, ever brand new helmet bought going from my father's AGV helmet with after-market accessories comms and a GoPro mounted camera. This has to be the best smart helmet out there and I love the design similar to the AGV helmets. Built-in camera eliminates the bulk with speakers and mic included inside. A fantastic app that warns you of hazards, police presence, and traffic. Just on one of my rides in moderate traffic, I was warned by the app that there was a hazard ahead, which turned out to be a filled trash bag on the road which I was able to prepare myself for and warn drivers behind. I'm assuming this is based on the Waze app, seeing more presence of this where the community actively contributes to the safety of roads really makes a difference and improves safety The reason for the 4 stars, there are still improvements i.e. 1. Should be able to view media via Bluetooth rather than connecting through the cables included, which is a bit of unnecessary bulk for example to view short clips or accidents for easy handovers. 2. Although included is extra speaker padding to bring the speakers closer to the ear, instead an option where it automatically increases the volume higher than the max in higher speed settings i.e. on the highway. Rather than using the paddings due to the speakers touching my ear causing some discomfort on longer rides 3. The 2 mouth air vents beside the camera, I didn't realise was clear all the way through. Thought there'd be a grill to prevent debris, may have inhaled a bug or two but most of the time there was a lot of fresh unobstructed air throughout my rides 4. Minor issue, but the SD card is a little difficult to remove. I guess understandable just like the GoPros 5. A removable battery would be nice, just to have another battery on standby if the one in the helmet dies, and you can quickly swap and charge the dead one It's great to see this is an Australian company behind the design and development of such an awesome product! Good work Forcite team! Looking forward to upcoming new designs and colour schemes!”

“The quality and attention to detail that Forcite provide is evident from the moment the package arrives. Every aspect from packaging, documentation, accessories and the 'hero' - the helmet itself, surpasses expectation. There were some initial teething issues with fit, however, these were quickly resolved. I have purposefully rated all aspects of the helmet as Excellent because the support given to me by the Forcite team to resolve those relatively minor issues was exemplary and effective. This is Forcites greatest asset.”
