“Bought these fabulous looking shoes for the primary purpose as winter golf shoes. I've worn Nike and Adidas the last 5-10 years, with my current Nike Infinity wearing out. The Nike's have the big flower-shaped fans on the bottom versus soft spikes. The "fans" cannot be replaced so after one winter season of wear I noticed the odd mid-swing right foot slip. It happened only on tee shots and started to cost me a shot a round (I play off of 5 hcp). Never worn FootJoy's before. The quality is fantastic and these shoes look fantastic. The only problem? The way the laces work, my heel kept slipping up and out of the heel section. Quite worrying for such a new shoe. So I sent them back and instead bought the Adidas Boa Lightstrike, which seem to fit my slightly narrower feet better. These FootJoy's tend to be for people with a wider fit.”
