“I LOVE Patchouli. I've used everything from oils to candles over many years. I particularly love the dark pink soap from French Soap, so I was excited to try this EDT. It was awful, it smells like fake Chanel no5, or some cheap fragrance your kids buy at the school summer fete. It's very floral and not at all woody/earthy. I'm unable to use it and don't have any friends I dislike enough to gift it to, also, it takes at least 4 scrubs to even partially get rid of. I'd suggest you buy the tester for 50p before committing to a full size disappointment. This is the first bum product I've had from French Soaps. Thankfully the pink soap is back in so I've stocked up again with something I can wear. Can't give it more than 1/5 and that is for it's longevity. The ratings don't let me give it less than 3 for some reason.”

Hi Amanda We are obviously disapointed you aren't happy with this fragrance or your purchase from us. We buy very carefully and only stock products we are very confident in. We also listen to all feedback and will discontinue products promptly if we feel that they aren't the standard we expect. This EDT is bespoke to the Savonnerie and handcrafted by an independent perfumier and has received very positive comments from most of our customers, many repeat buying. Fragrance is personal though and we all smell scent differently. I see you ordered a sample and the full size. Please do return the full size product to us for a refund.
