“Tape came up after one use”

We understand your frustration and would like to assist you in resolving this issue. The Clear Mat Tape is indeed pressure-sensitive, and proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. It's important to follow the installation procedure correctly to ensure a secure and long-lasting bond. We recommend thoroughly cleaning and drying the surface before applying the tape, as any dirt or moisture can compromise adhesion. Additionally, applying firm pressure along the entire length of the tape during installation helps activate the adhesive for better bonding and allowing 24 hours before activity. for stronger holds, we recommend using our VLP Adhesives along the edges for a stronger firmer hold.
