“I bought this item a little less than a year ago. All of the numbers matched up as far as make and model. The first lamp they sent didnt work, so I just assumed it was luck of the draw a bad one, it happens. So I requested a replacement, they complied without incident. I then put the second lamp in and it didnt work. I assumed it was me. It has been sitting on my shelf since last April. I have no leg to stand on to try and return it. I called Sony, and first bulb they sent me worked. I guess my opinion, always buy from Mfg, they are on the hook if it doesnt work. I'm not blaming these guys, save for the fact maybe they should do little more testing before sending out components that may or may not work.”
