“This is easy to fit and set up. We only have one heating zone, so I wanted to turn off the bedroom radiators during the day. Rather than program two periods of heat during the evening and morning, with cold temperature settings in between, I set it at high temperature throughout the night. The boiler is off from 10:30pm to 6:30am, so the radiator doesn't come on during the night, but this means the valve is already open at 06:30, so you don't get disturbed by the sound of the valve opening at 06:30.”

“These are easy to program and are comprehensive in their functionality. However, I have 2 different types of radiator valve, and these only worked on one of them. Also they are a bit noisy. Probably ok in some environments - maybe not in bedrooms!”

“The i30 work well for us, you do need the right valves on your rads as even with the adaptors I had to change so of ours and the i30 can be sensitive to valves that don't close abruptly so an F1 error comes up and can't be overridden this has even been an issue on new valves albeit the 90 degree, 90 degree angled type.”
