“This device is quite easy to programme and seems relatively reliable, although I have had one or two instances where it doesn't seem to be following my programming. I think it is quite an effective low cost way of reducing gas consumption and carbon emissions. I find it particularly effective in my kitchen, which we like to keep quite warm when we are around. When we go to bed we can turn the heating in the kitchen right down, confident that it will return to a higher temperature the next morning.”

“Fitted 7 of these now, all easy and quick to fit.Accurate control of temperature unlike older numbered valves.Handy service everyday is automatic, preventing valve that stick through not moving for months. Only one valve gave an error code, but this was due to too excessive clearance, cured by use of different adaptor combinations. Much,much cheaper than Honeywell alternative, you get 4 for less than the price of one Honeywell valve.”

“These programmable thermostats are ver y versatile. At first they seem complicated but once you have programmed them a few times they become easy. The manual override is very good”

“The valve was bought for use in a bedroom. The traditional TRV was operative 24*7 once the temperature was set unless adjusted manually each day. Now, we've set the Terrier i30 valve to be at 16-18 degrees for the whole day (whenever the boiler is running), aside from 0630-0730 when we get up, so that the bedroom is as toasty warm the bed being vacated. If temp falls below 16 degrees when the boiler is on, so the thermostat operates. Great! The device was quite easy to set up. I actually found it quite easy to set up once installed on the radiator. The valve's operation is quiet, and we have found we are sleeping better with the bedroom cooler overnight, but we also wake up to a well warmed bedroom. A really good buy, and I'm thinking about investing in others now for other rooms too.”
