“Note that this cannot be attached to Clesse gas regulators without a gauge. The gauge nozzle on the side of my Clesse regulator (purchased at the same time) was closed when the regulator was cast and cannot be re-opened. Hamilton recommended a tee-piece and an adaptor that enabled fitting of this gauge to the line. The instructions state that this gauge is only rated to 4 bar for occasional use, and not for fixed installations. That was fine for my use. The gauge gives me a clear indication of my propane pressure, which helps me set a stable flame with different burners and is a bonus for safety.”
