“Bought the Blue Belle Chic Gas Heater - great job. It takes the chill out of a large room, rather than intensely heating a small area in the vicinity of the heater. My only complaint would be the door at the back which houses the gas tank keeps popping open, would need a much stronger magnet to keep it closed. Particularly when moving the heater around and the door swinging about is very inconvenient.”

“The heater is fine and was delivered rapidly However, the Hamilton website Q&A is badly incorrect, it says: What size bottle does the Blue Belle Chic 4.2kw heater take? Hi Gareth, The recommended size is 15kg or 11.34kg It runs on butane. In the UK I don't believe one can purchase an 11.34kg bottle and the 15kg Calor Gas bottle will not fit in the enclosure. So one has to use a 7kg butane bottle, which costs a bit more, pro-rata, and obviously won't last as long as the times quoted”

I have checked our website and we mention the 11.34kg bottle as that is the size in Ireland and the 15kg is for the UK. Although they admit it is a very tight squeeze the 15kg will fit the heater but we have passed your feedback on to the manufacturer. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

“Good heater. Very large, hence heavy. Disappointingly, the wheel caster broke when wheeling it a couple of feet away on a solid surface just a couple of days ago and after only having it for under 3 weeks. I trust this unit is be replaced for a new faultless unit, as this is a huge inconvenience given that it was sold as a portable heater and it's weight.”
