“the heater was very difficult to put together, some of the holes didn't align so not all the screws would go in, more dangerous was the gas pipe was not connected to the inlet pipe meaning flames were leaking out of the side rather than up the glass pipe, we had to take it apart to fix it, quite disappointing considering the cost”

“The overall build quality of this is ok however the manufacturer has used cheap screws in which the head is very easily damaged during installation. The instructions are very poor although most of the assembly is easy to work out. In terms of performance the heat output is very disappointing, you have to be right next to the unit to feel the heat, you can see most of the heat disappearing out of the top and up into the atmosphere, even on full flame the heat output is so poor you can literally 'hug' the unit around the middle and not find it too hot be near. I think it is more fashion over function and would choose a more 'traditional' design with a larger heat deflector on the top.”
