“Allow the use of larger propane bottle - cheaper gas - and run multiple units (cookers/fridges) from the one cylinder. Considerably safer than splicing a 'T' pieces into hose. Also allows items with different pressure requirements i.e.a cooker and a Bullfinch light to connect to same cylinder via their own regulators”
