“Bought this as can't get electric to my greenhouse and want to keep frost off to overwinter some geraniums. Neat and compact unit so fits in easily (smaller than I thought in fact). Very easy to set up. The remote thermostat that uncoils from the back of the heater is handy to be able to put in a more suitable place (mines hanging on a piece of string tied to roof bar and sits about 2ft direct over heater as read this was best place to avoid heater firing too much). Stood heater on some bricks as recommended. Got the pilot lit easily (just remember to hold in brass rod). Seems to respond to temperature OK when turned the control up but not had a really cold night yet to see if setting 0 keeps greenhouse around 5°. Pilot light seems to burn hardly any gas but still gives a bit of heat anyway even if burner hasn't kicked in. In order to get some ventilation, as it needs it, I replaced 6" high small glass panel below louvre with a piece of wood and drilled hole for a length of waste pipe to go through (and hole for gas pipe so gas bottle is outside). Very pleased so far and friends that have seen it are interested in getting one.”
