This awning was just what I was looking for. It was easy to assemble and install. The support arms allowed me to get the awning level on and old and uneven house. I am very pleased with it.

Overall, I was very pleased with my purchase but after a mild wind storm, the awning blew off the house. It was installed properly, adhered to studs and it still blew away. I inquired about a warranty for the arms of the product (which were damaged when it blew off) and they do not cover damage caused by wind. The arms are so weak and bent very easily. I would think this is a somewhat normal happening for awnings and as such, they would do something to ensure that the arms are made stronger and the unit should withstand average wind. They did kindly offer to quote me another $91 to replace the arms that bent....insert sarcasm here....I feel like I have $500 kite.
