The Panorama is the only awning design that allows you to see out of the window, while providing all the protection and energy saving benefits of other fixed window awnings. The horizontal slotted design also reduces the loss of beneficial heat gain from the sun during winter months. All-aluminum with baked-on enamel finish. No maintenance required. 10 colors available for the bottom panel. Awning slope is adjustable. The awning can be folded down if necessary and is easy to remove and reinstall. Hardware is included for an easy do-it-yourself assembly. Appropriate wall anchors must be provided by installer.

“I purchased the awning to replace a large tree that had to be removed. The awning works well to help shade my living room in summer and still lets plenty of light in now in wintertime. “We replaced our old canvas awnings with General Awnings’ aluminum Panorama awnings. We have installed them on a bay window as well as a regular window. The one on the reluctant window is anchored in brick; the bay window in aluminum siding. The install was relatively easy, they look nice, and they let light in which the canvas awnings did not. General Awnings was very helpful in working with us. We are pleased with the awnings.”

“The awning is exactly what is on the website. Easy to order. The installation instructions are somewhat lacking, but if you are a bit of a handyman, you should be able to put it up. A good youtube video would be helpful. Other than that, I was able to install everything except put the slats on. A helper is definitely needed for that part. It looks great and is built good. Should last for years. My wife loves it! Allows light in but blocks the sun, if that makes any sense. Some awnings make the room dark, this one does not. I would definitely recommend this awning. It looks good and is well built.”

“We installed 4 of these awnings. They are 36 in wide each and placed over individual windows. Installation is fairly straightforward. We installed the brackets first and then put the slats on. This was the easiest for us. Overall they do their job in keeping the afternoon sun from making our bedrooms hot in the summer. They also look nice on the windows. I do have a complaint about their design. There is some play where the support arm attaches to the window frame bracket. When the wind blows hard enough, the awning bumps up and down, making a clunk noise. I tried tightening them but no matter what there is some movement at those points. Usually this isn't a problem, but recently we had some high winds, like 40+mph, and the awnings bumped often. I think I might be able to solve this problem by replacing the screws with thicker ones that fill the holes completely and leave no room for movement. Besides that the awnings are good and do their job well.”

“PERFECT! Wish I had found these years ago. They give the right amount of privacy and shade without completely blocking your view. Classy look and still looks brand new with all our Houston weather (self-installed in August 2023 and it gets a lot of sun along with tree droppings). Also, they will work with you for more specific measurements if needed. Do NOT buy any other kind, you will not be disappointed with these!”

“I wish the awning were retractable like my old one. We'll see how it does this winter with snow and wind' It did take about five hours to install with two people. A lot of pieces. We get compliments on it.”
