The Senci SC8000 C diesle generator is a fine, robust and reliable tool. I was however less than impressed when I purchased a spair con-rod and pair of shell bearings. neither the con-rod nor the shell bearings were in any way wrapped up in the box. Both - all three! - were free to rattle about. The result is that the shell berings were noticeably scratched on their bearing surfaces. Perhaps ot to the point of being unusable, but definitely scratched. When you think that a moment's thought and 20p worth of bubblewrap whould bave prevented this, it suggests that someone failed to engage brain when packing the components up!
