“The New Balance 460v3 plate shoe has maximum comfort, true fit, easy to clean and usage longevity. Over the past 12 years I have tried 2 other brands of plate shoes that came onto the market and found that none of them held up to the hype or the standards of the New Balance. I have returned to New Balance each time.”

“I have the white baseball 460 V3 too so when I was looking to replace my softball plate shoes, it wasn't a hard decision. The Gerry Davis price was right so I couldn't pass up the sale. The 460 V3 are very comfortable, I just wish they didn't scuff so easily, which know is the number two complaint. The number one complaint of course is how the flap which covers the top of the foot needs to be repaired after only a few seasons. Where as my 460's which I bought 3/19/2013 have never needed to be repaired. New Balance needs to own the two top complaints, but they won't. Which is sad. The competition from Mizuno shoe may eventually force their hand.”

“I love my new shoes. First game out this year was a very long game and my feet were comfortable throughout. My partner commented on the polished look and how sharp they were. My shin guards rubbed on them enough to scuff them up a bit. Im hoping a little shoe shine will take care of that. I've previously ordered wide sizes for this model in the past due to my flat feet. However I've found the D width is more snug and provides more support than the EE did for me due to my foot slipping around in the wider shoe.”
