“I find the West Vest Pro Gold 2 to be lightweight and comfortable. It has very good upper torso protection without feeling bulky and adjusts well if you have a light or medium frame.”

“My first reaction is… I can’t believe MLB umps wear this! While incredibly light weight, I feel like a fairly medium to moderate blow will… hurt. It does fits great. For the best chest coverage, don’t bother with anything else but the largest size. Otherwise the bottom of your rib cage will be exposed.”

“This is my first Wilson Pro Gold protector. I've been using a Champro protector for a while now. It's never failed me until 2 weeks ago when I took a 85mph fastball to the top of my right shoulder pad. I've used used the Pro gold now for a cpl of games now & as said in other reviews, the flaps on the side keep pushing in. Hopefully after a few more games they wont do that. All in all great chest protector.”
