“The new west vest addressed two common complaints regarding the older models. The padding is now thinner and the pads are removable. I particularly like the new magnetic clips for the harness. This isn't my first choice, I still prefer the Force3 but I wear this when I want additional protection for D3.”

“Maximum protection but a bit bulkier than I expected. Will use it when the pitching suggests I should. With less powerful pitchers (and hot weather,) I think I will still use my low-profile chest protector”

“I've worn a West Vest for a while and the new design is good. The buckles are magnetic and the profile is lower. I upgraded my old protector and it's nice that the premium harness is included. The West Vest is lighter, but still just as protective.”
