“The shelf is sloping downwards and not level. I certainly wouldn’t be able to leave a vase of flowers or a drink for fear of it slipping off. Please can Customer Services contact me regarding this issue. The floating shelf from a previous order is absolutely fine.”

Please do send photos through to hello@getlaidbeds.co.uk of the issue you have with your self so that the team can raise a replacement for you. Please include your order ID and a brief description of what's happening and clear photos of the issue. The customer service team can be contacted directly via email, phone or live chat from 9am-8pm Monday to Friday and 10am -4pm on Saturdays. “Very overpriced for what it was. Also did not immediately fit between the ends of the slats and the side of the bed, requiring us to try and find 2 shorter slats and move them to where the shelf would fit. Shelf is not totally horizontal. Disappointed!”
