“The bed is extremely flimsy. It creaks when you move on it. It is not sturdy and feels like it could crack or split easily when you move it (with or without mattress on it). Don’t think it will last long before it breaks. Disappointed!”

A natural wood product can take a few weeks or so to 'settle' in. Even after settling in you can experience some creaking. The creaking and cracking you hear is just the sound of materials expanding and contracting due to the natural changes in temperature and humidity that happen throughout a typical day as wood is hygroscopic. Your bed frame has an 11 year workmanship guarantee associated with it so if anything breaks or you have issues with the bed frame due to the workmanship please contact customer service directly on hello@getlaidbeds.co.uk and the helpful team will be able to look into it and offer further assistance where possible.
