“I bought this bed in a 4' small double size. £420 including delivery. The stained & lacquered softwood bits are well finished. There are black angle brackets to connect the side rails to the headboard & footboard, screwed in place using robust black 25mm no.10 flanged button screws. The zinc no. 6 20mm screws to connect the side rails to the headboard & footboard are simply not fit for purpose, as these 12 screws are all that secure the weight combination of side rails, bed slats, mattress and human sleeper to the headboard & footboard - the only parts of the frame in contact with the floor. Also, the pre-drilled holes in the side rails for these screws are not in the right place, leaving gaps where they meet the headboard & footboard. Also, the gap between the wide slats of almost 90mm seems excessive. Under these circumstances, £420 appears a wholly ridiculous price for such a poorly specced piece of furniture.”

“Really like this bed. We went for the white wash and it's really nice. You can see the wood grain coming through slightly. The frame feels solid and we are really enjoying having what feels like a much bigger room. There's something really nice about being closer to the floor!”
