The 7" knife is ideal for chopping vegetables which is what I need a knife for most often. It fits nicely in my hand and is comfortable to work with. The blade simply seems to never get dull. It's as effective today as the day I bought it. I also recommend the 5" knife for slicing. It's perfect for potatoes or tomatoes. I look forward to having these knives for years to come.
