“So here’s what I’ll say: great service, fast paced, well packaged and protected. But I’m really dissenting that the color in the pics are filtered and edited and so not match what color the hair really is. I paid for quality and I got it but it’s way different than in the picture.”
“I love this ponytail overall, but there are still some pros and cons for me.
My hair: I have pretty thick, but medium-fine long straight hair. I’m a natural dark brown with golden balayage (good balance between cool and warm blond tones). My hair in my own natural ponytail is about 50% thicker than this ponytail alone.
Pros:
-It’s the only ponytail I can actually wear because it contains less hair than my own so it adds just enough extra hair without being too overbearing and falling off.
-I like that the fabric base is smaller and really lightweight compared to others I’ve tried.
-The ponytail has soft, medium-fine hair and is so similar to mine that it blends in perfectly.
-The mocha bronde balayage color is literally my hair color. I’d never be able to tell the difference if you showed me a picture of my hair and a picture of this ponytail. The balayage is also so perfectly well done and doesn’t look like sloppy highlights.
-Can’t say enough about the quality overall. I’ve also purchased hair from Luxy, Bellami, Foxy Locks, and Milk+Blush (I was on a mission to find the best). Luxy and GlamSeamless stand out to me, with GS taking a small lead in quality, colors, and options.
Cons:
-If you have thicker hair like me, the Velcro wrap part is a little too small. Most of the “sticky” Velcro is wrapped around and sticking into my actual hair and I’m only able to stick a tiny piece of the soft opposing Velcro to the sticky Velcro. The base of the ponytail sits on top of my own ponytail like a rainbow rather than wrapping all the way around like a circle. It’s not the end of the world, however, and I can make it work.
-The little piece of hair to wrap around the base is super thick and short. So it can look overly bulky instead of smooth and sleek since I’m already starting with a pretty thick base.
-I do have long hair, but the 22” extends about 2” past the longest parts of my own hair. Since my hair is so thick, it can make the ends look a little too sparse since it’s not as thick as my own hair. But note the quality of the hair’s thickness from top to bottom is consistent and excellent!
All that being said, this still seems like a solid investment if you’re looking for a ponytail and I would 100% choose this one over others out there that I’ve tried. If you have thicker hair, this one can totally work for you, despite a few issues. If you have thinner/less/shorter hair, I think this would work even better for you.”
“I got these extensions when my roots were growing out and the blended so perfect! This is the ONLY brand I will ever use. They last so long and I’ve never had a problem with blending. These are the best extensions by far. :)”
