Overall I was happy with the dress for the event - it met the black tie requirement and fit reasonably well. I have no bust so it was a bit big at the top which I fixed with Hollywood tape at the back. Slightly too long but just had to get used to picking it up when moving / managing stairs (I only wore one inch heels). It is quite figure hugging, something I'm not used to but wore Spanx which made me feel less self conscious, also the navy color and off the shoulder and wings(!) focus the attention away from the stomach / hips.
I would never purchase this dress given it's not really my style normally and the fabric is forgiving but not the best quality. However, for the black tie wedding I attended it did the job perfectly. I also got a number of compliments which is always nice.”
