“The GSF-46 is a fantastic knife. It is extremely sharp and has a good grip, making it ideal for cutting smaller items.
The GSF-23 knife, on the other hand, is advertised as a utility knife, but it is actually a meat knife. It is not very useful for cutting items while cooking. Even for vegetables with more fragile skin, such as tomatoes, the GSF-46 knife is better if it is well cared for and properly sharpened.”
“My kids got the three piece set a couple of years ago and I loved the set immediately. They were attractive and sharp but most importantly the feel in my hand was sharpness, but they felt superb in fit with my hand and balance. I lost the paring knife and wanted to replace it when I saw the two knives I ordered. They had the same look and sharpness, but the feel and balance was equally unsatisfactory as the other knives were superb. The replacement knives both have a thin handle and don’t fit comfortably in my hand and don’t have comfortable balance.”
