Super sharp. I have been wanting to upgrade my kitchen knifes for some time. But finding a high quality set, that I could afford and not made in China was difficult. I wish I could have been able to afford a larger set but I am totally satisfied with the 7 pieces I got. They cut like a dream, have a good feel and look good too.

I recently faced the challenge of finding a set of quality knives that could withstand the rigors of a dishwasher. While it's generally advised against putting high-quality knives in the dishwasher, I was willing to compromise on longevity for the sake of convenience. Think of it like buying a non-stick pan—you know you'll have to replace it eventually. Enter the Global Kabuto 7-Piece Knife Block Set. Pros: Razor-Sharp Blades: These knives are incredibly sharp right out of the box, making slicing and dicing a breeze. Essential Selection: The set includes all the basic knives you'd need for everyday cooking, eliminating the fuss of choosing individual pieces. Cons: Lightweight: While some may appreciate the lightness, I personally prefer knives with a bit more heft for better control. Outdated Block Design: The knife block leaves much to be desired in terms of aesthetics. It seems like a relic from a 1980s kitchen remodel. The Bottom Line: This set offers great value for the price, especially if you're willing to replace it in a few years due to dishwasher wear. The knives themselves are top-notch in terms of sharpness and utility. However, if you're particular about the design, the block might not be to your taste—unless, of course, you're still rocking Nagel prints from the '80s on your walls. In that case, it might just be the perfect retro addition to your kitchen!
