“its not as moisturizing as i'd like it to be. when used with the mask its okay, but with the regular conditioner i'm not impressed. i'm not a blonde and dont require an extremely moisturizing shampoo but this is almost drying.”

It is always a good idea to try and heal your hair through a protein-free approach first because protein is easily overused and could lead to an increase in damage. We designed our formula to cater to a variety of hair types, and we're sorry to hear that it didn't provide the hydration you were looking for on its own. There is a difference between protein sensitivity and a protein overload in that a protein sensitivity means protein can become harmful to your hair over time and through repetitive exposure.
Combining the shampoo with the mask is a great suggestion for added moisture. We value your experience and will take your insights into account as we continue to refine our products.
