Everyone's hair has unique needs, and we're sorry it wasn’t the perfect match on its own. It is always a good idea to try and heal your hair through a protein-free approach first because protein is easily overused and could lead to an increase in damage.
A protein overload or “overdose” is when you have supplemented protein through treatments or products that contain high amounts of protein. Also, if your hair feels hard, rough, or dehydrated, it’s likely that your hair has been exposed to too much protein, resulting in damage to your hair.
