Seit 2018 kreiert und verkauft GOT BAG zeitlose, langlebige sowie minimalistisch designte Rucksäcke, Taschen und Koffer aus Ocean Impact Plastic. Mit ihrer Stiftung GOT BAG Indonesia, der Hilfe von 19 aktiven Communities sowie dem Clean-up-Programm vor Ort konnte das Mainzer Start-up bisher mehr als 1.000.000 kg Ocean Impact Plastic sammeln, welches sich in küstennahen Gebieten, Mangrovenwäldern, Flüssen oder dem Meer befand. Zusammen mit nationalen und internationalen Partner:innen und Meeresschutzorganisationen setzt sich GOT BAG darüber hinaus für den Schutz und Erhalt der Meere ein.

“I think that it's a great backpack for a daily use, it's small and comfortable, light weight and it stays in shape. Inside there is - a place for a 13'' laptop and a hidden pocket which is great to keep your wallet and phone safe. I wish it had a sleeve (dedicated place) inside the bag for a water bottle, that would have been great. Also, when you try to get things from the bag or the front pocket the zipper always scratches your hand... which hurts and is uncomfortable but maybe it'll get better over time, will have to see.”

“Beware of the size!! I came from having a traditional/classic Herschel bag and this bag was 3/4 the size of it. Little room to expand and I ended up returning it. With that said, I've just ordered the Rolltop because the dimensions and specifically the volume match that of my old Herschel. Great bag and great material - just make sure you know the sizing :)”

“Love it! The material is sturdy and the design is simple yet classy and professional. I think it would be helpful to have two outer pockets (maybe on the sides) so that it’s easier to access and it wouldn’t be necessary to remove the bag from one or both shoulders. Pen/pencil pockets on the inside would also be great! Lastly, a deeper inside to fit bigger waterbottles would also be a plus. Looking forward to more of Got Bag’s products!”

“The Daypack was shipped to me in a cardboard box via a carbon-neutral delivery. That’s a big plus. The GOT Bag Daypack is fabric made from 100% ocean plastic. Its straps are recycled PET, which is a common type of plastic used in plastic bottles, and it’s got a bio-based polyurethane coating which is environmentally friendly. The material is durable and obviously water-resistant, which is great for rainy days. It’s not the most flexible thing in the world, but I kind of like that it feels sturdy. The back itself is still comfortable, and I do have sensitive skin, so I was concerned about how coarse it would be, but no problem there. It weighs only 1.19 pounds which is awwwesome for my back! The classic black color was great for me because I wanted to keep this professional. The zippers feel very durable. The front has a good sized zip pocket, which I personally like; since I plan to take this on errands, I didn’t want something that would be easy to steal my valuables. A lot of simple or slim backpacks on the market have a ton of front pockets, and I didn’t want that because of the possibility of theft. I like that the pouch that will fit a 13” laptop or tablet has some extra padding and a velcro strap to secure it. The inner zipper area is quite deep. If I could change 1 thing, I do wish there were a small pocket or two. It feels great to know that my purchase has made a positive impact on the planet. Thank you, GOT Bag!”
