“I had previously purchased the ground coffee and found myself happy with my purchase but not impressed. After speaking with a customer service rep, they advised me that because I had purchased pre ground, which is for coffee makers, not the French press I used, my coffee wouldn’t be a great as it could be if it was ground for my brewing method.
I was pretty sure that whole bean coffee wasn’t going to make that big of a change in the flavour but boy was I wrong.
The coffee is more rich, and satisfying when it’s ground according to the brewing method... so don’t underestimate that...
It was also just really nice to have a person take an interest in what I had to say and help me solve a very small problem, so customer service 5 stars”
“The coffee smells amazing when it’s in the bag, just grounds... but once you start to brew it has an ashy, dark roast smell.
As well, this coffee isn’t very strong, it is quite smooth and not overly acidic, which is pleasant. Overall... this coffee is ok... brew some before rushing out the door coffee... not a wrap your hands around the mug on a rainy Sunday morning coffee”
Hey Adeline, would be interested to know how you prepare your coffee and what do you use. "Strong" doesn't mean corse also it has a lot to do on how you prepare it. We would like to help you.
