The local guides of Norman white and his team are the best we ever had from many cycling tours with different companies. They love what they do and they know Japan and cycling!”

“We loved Japan, the variety of landscapes oceans to mountains. As always Grasshopper had some wonderful hotels to stay in and a great tour round Japanese food. The hardwork the guides put into making the trip enjoyable is fantastic. Grasshopper is our go to tour guide”

“The Shikoku bike tour was amazing, but a bit challenging for untrained bikers. However, the E-bike can solve that issue. From the flat country roads to the steep climbing, winding hills that lead to a breath-taking view of the valleys. As a newly trained biker, I find this trip very rewarding because I have overcome my fear of tuff climbs and I have accomplished the goals that I thought it was impossible for me. The routes through small farming towns, the coastlines, and the bamboo forest were absolutely amazing. I like how our journey changed from quiet riding on narrow paths to suddenly entering tiny villages. Our tour guides, Reiko, Norman, Toto, and James were very knowledgeable of the areas and routes. They enlighten us with the history of every community and shrine we explored. They engaged with everyone on the tour to make us feel like we were family. Reiko, especially, was the greatest magician of all time. Whenever the weather did not permit us to ride, she seamlessly arranged other activities for us to explore. This trip review cannot be completed if I didn't mention food. Everything we had eaten on this trip, from vegetables, fruits, fish, meats, and whatnot, was incredibly fresh and locally grown My husband and I enjoyed our trip. We would highly recommend this trip”

“Riding through bamboo and cedar forests, rolling along the spectacular coastline, crossing a succession of long bridges on quiet safe roads and paths this was a truly memorable cycling holiday for us. An achievable challenge for my husband and I - me on a new Cannondale and he choosing an e-bike. The comfortable hotels some with onsens to soak away the days weary muscles were in beautiful locations. The choice and variety of meals was exceptional. Our guides were outstanding in their knowledge of Japanese culture and their daily assistance and attention to detail could not have been improved. We highly recommend this cycling adventure.”
