“I was hoping this would be a real whiskey aging barrel. Most real whiskey barrels are burnt/smoked on the inside and you have to soak them to seal them before adding the whiskey. Then you let the whiskey sit inside for a few months and the flavor is enhanced. This is just a plain barrel for storing whiskey more from a decorative standpoint than actually enhancing the whiskey. It does look well built and the personalization came out as expected.”
