I'm sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations in this instance and will be sure to pass on this information to our Quality Assurance team as well as any other departments who may be able to help rectify this issue. For the most part, the barbell you purchased featured knurling standard to that bar from the manufacturer, and based on the images sent - was not a defect. Unfortunately due to that reason we are unable to offer anything else in terms of replacement and/or a gift voucher. If there is anything else we can do, please don't hesitate to reach out!
