“I’ve been taking Hab Shifa BSO for the most part of the last 7 yrs. My sister mentioned it to me when my defacto Neil was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2015. He had the it removed, but it had metastasized to his liver.
When Neil had an appointment with his pharmacist, he was surprised and pleased that Neil was on BSO. He just advised him to stop taking it 2 weeks before any procedure.
Neil was on BSO and it helped him a lot with his diabetes type 2.
Neil only took the recommended dose, which was fine in controlling his sugar levels, quite often he could reduce or stop his insulin.
I feel he should have been on a higher dose for the cancer, therapeutic dose. (He became too dependant on his meds).
Neil passed away in 2019 from a drug overdose given to him by his palliative care practitioner. Yes, I learnt a lot over those 4 yrs. I made the decision to quit script and OTC pain and antacids for my GERD. All except one, I kept one for onset of migraine, but I stopped that one in 2017 because I found it was too difficult to take at the right moment. It turns out I’ve been having cervicogenic headaches for the last 25+ yrs.
Being on meds for years damaged my gut and liver. To cut a long story short, In 2013 I was diagnosed with GERD and had a Laparoscopic Hiatal Repair and Nissen fundoplication.
4 years later my reflux returned, I’m guessing that the Nissen has loosened. (I haven’t had this investigated yet).
GP said Dumping Syndrome, my dietitian and I disagreed… so this put me on the path of trying a few things going by my symptoms and what the dietitian recommended.
I changed my eating habits, diet and lifestyle. (ongoing).
In mean time I found a new GP, she suggested IBS at one appointment. Before I went back, I researched SIBO and I think it was more that.
I made a lot of other changes over the last 6 yrs., which has helped, but I needed something that was going to rid reflux, heartburn, bloating, sulphur burps and diarrhoea.
Late 2020 I moved into a house that has air-conditioning and I developed head cold like symptoms from it. I decided to up my dose to a teaspoon and within a week the symptoms had gone. I changed from a capsule recommended dose to the liquid oil and upped to therapeutic dose of 1 tsp under the tongue, holding there for 5 minutes before swallowing with liquid. I have heard of some people taking more.
Its now September 2021, I haven’t had any symptoms, the last time I has sulphur burps I said to my daughter, Ah Oh, sulphur burps means I’ll have diarrhoea tomorrow. But I didn’t and the burps only lasted a few hours. I’m still on 1tsp, but only 3-4 times a week on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning and before dinner at night. Its so nice not to have those symptoms any longer.
No more sinus issues, no more bloating or reflux.
No more stomach pains.
My bloodwork has had a few subtle concerns in the past, but nothing for alarms.
Since taking BSO, some changes for the better have been noted, but more so when I upped my dose.
My liver has healed from the damage of pain meds.
For years my urine showed a touch of blood, not any more.
I haven’t had a cold or flu in 7 yrs, just some hay fever in spring, but nothing since upping my dose.

MY DOGS
I have three dogs, a golden retriever (11), shitzu (9) and her son is 6. I do a lot towards their natural protocol.
They have been fed 100% raw diet since puppies, the youngest was weaned onto raw. I transitioned to 100% natural household 7 yrs ago, so I don’t give them any poisons for fleas/ticks/worms and they’ve never had worms and fleas have never been a problem.
They’re all on BSO and other supplements which work as their natural protocol.
My shitzu used to have environmental allergies and sometimes reflux. Her reflux has gone and her allergies have improved a lot.
